Licensed Clinical
Social Work Resident

Madison is a Licensed Master Social Work with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Madison earned her Bachelors in Family and Child Sciences with minors in Psychology and Sociology from Florida State University. She then went on to earn her Masters in Social Work at University of Georgia. While at University of Georgia she interned at an on campus clinic that provided services to the school and community. This allowed Madison to gain invaluable experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds with topics such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.

Madison uses a strength based and trauma informed lens while drawing from many evidenced-based theories when working with clients. She most frequently uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative techniques. Madison believes the most important part of therapy is the relationship between her and the client, and creates a space where clients feel comfortable while talking about possibly uncomfortable subjects.

Outside of work, Madison enjoys traveling, reading, playing with her dog, and exploring the DMV area.
