MEET DANNICA CONLEY
Licensed Professional Counselor Resident
Dannica is a Resident in Counseling and has experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Arizona and earned her Master’s in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William and Mary, graduating summa cum laude from both programs. She provides a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental approach and welcomes the opportunity to support individuals through more difficult seasons of life. She values humor and playfulness, and leans into each client’s individual strengths to support healing and transformation.
Dannica strives to create a safe space for healing, where individuals feel heard, supported, and valued as human beings. Working with Dannica means being supported in your desire to work on deeper issues, focusing on areas such as improving quality of life, targeting problematic and maladaptive behaviors, deepening your sense of self, and finding purpose. She tailors her approach to each client’s individual needs, incorporating elements from humanistic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), positive psychology, mindfulness, and solution-focused counseling, to name a few. She also has experience with Family-Based Treatment (FBT), which is an effective approach for treating adolescents with eating disorders.
In her free time, Dannica enjoys gardening, embroidery, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.
