Social Psychologist Resident

Ronne Lancaster has been a school psychologist in Fairfax County Public Schools for 18 years working with children from preschool age through high school. She has extensive experience providing comprehensive psychological evaluations and navigating the special education process. She has also conducted individual and group counseling services to students with a variety of needs and has provided parent consultation and guidance. Specific areas of interest include using behavioral and cognitive skill based techniques for anxiety, social skill training, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Ronne is currently working on her residency hours to become a licensed school psychologist under the supervision licensed psychologists, Mrs. Christine Willing.

Ronne received her Masters of Science in Educational Psychology in 1998 and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies specialization in School Psychology in 1999 from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Providence College, where she majored in psychology and minored in mathematics. Prior to being a school psychologist in Fairfax County, Ronne Lancaster was a home-based therapist for the May Institute Center for Early Childhood Education working with parents and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She also worked at the May Institute Center for Traumatic Brain Injury and Rehabilitation, serving as a case manager for students with traumatic brain injuries in a group home.

In her spare time, Ronne enjoys running and hiking with her husband and two dogs. She also enjoys playing golf, doing yoga, and reading.
