MEET SEPIDEH SAIEDI

Licensed Professional Counselor

Ms. Sepideh Saiedi is a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor and has extensive experience serving a wide range of mental health concerns in Northern Virginia. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, groups, and families. She has training in trauma-informed, evidence-based, integrative, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, expressive art, as well as other premier advanced treatments. She also treats relationship dynamics/issues/needs across the lifespan. She honors diversity and inclusion and offers LGBTQ+ affirming services.

Ms. Saiedi is a humanistic and person-centered counselor. It is her goal to collaborate with her clients and tailoring treatment to target their specific needs and concerns. She strives to help her clients decrease distress, discover their unique sources of strength, resilience, and potentiality in taking actions towards enhancing their quality of lives.

 

Ms. Saiedi obtained a Masters of Arts education in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate at Regent University studying counseling and psychological studies, specializing in trauma and crisis counseling.

 

When Ms. Saiedi is not practicing counseling, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, family, and friends. She appreciates walks in nature, yoga, meditation, reading, and homemade meals.
