TARA MCFADDEN

Licensed Professional Counselor
Over the last ten years, Tara has worked with children, adolescents and families across the spectrum of mental illness. Specifically, Tara works with clients who's age is 15 to 70 years old. Tara specializes in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, self esteem, relational issues, grief, religious deconstruction, life transitions or trauma. Tara works from a strengths based perspective and draws from CBT to meet clients where they are to empower them. She views her clients holistically, with compassion and creates a safe space for healing.
Tara spent her undergraduate years at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain GA where she majored in Biblical Studies and minored in International Community Development. She went on to obtain her masters in Clinical Social Work from George Mason University and earned her LCSW in Virginia. Since that time, Tara has worked in schools, homes, hospitals and in the community providing therapeutic services.
In her free time, Tara enjoys staying active and walking her dog Charlie.
