Pin Satjayakorn, Ed.M., BCBA., NCSP
School Psychology Resident
Pin Satjayakorn is a School Psychology Resident who works with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families to promote positive behavior change, strengthen social-emotional development, and build essential life skills. She specializes in supporting individuals with ADHD, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, and autism, using evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her goal is to help clients thrive at home, at school, and in their communities.
Pin has experience working in public schools in New York City and Northern Virginia, as well as in clinical settings using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with behavioral concerns. She takes an engaging, relationship-centered approach to her work, building trust with clients and collaborating closely with families. Her work draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. She also has experience supporting multilingual families, including those who speak Thai and Mandarin, and values culturally responsive,strength-based practices.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development fromPennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree in School Psychology fromTeachers College, Columbia University. She is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia.
Outside of her professional work, Pin enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in dog sports with her energetic border collie, Batman.
