Position Overview:
We are currently hiring Supervisees in Social Work or Residents in Counseling (approved by the Virginia Board) to join our Residency Program. You'll build your clinical skills, receive quality supervision, and enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule that includes both in-person sessions in Ashburn and telehealth options from home.

Ideal Candidate:

• Master’s in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program (Required)

• Approved (or ready to be approved) by the VA Board of Social Work or Counseling to begin residency

• 1-year practicum/internship experience (Required)

• 6 months to 1 year of post-master’s experience (Preferred)

• Comfortable working with children, teens, and adults in individual therapy

• Available for at least 20 client hours per week including 1–2 evenings

• Able to see clients in person in Ashburn, VA and via telehealth

 

Compensation:
$56–$80/hour; $80,000-100,000 per year plus monthly stipend and year end bonus*
1099 Independent Contractor – Full-time (20–25 clients/week)

LPC RESIDENT IN COUNSELING

Think Happy Live Healthy is seeking a Virginia Resident in Counseling (Clinicians approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling to begin their supervised hours towards becoming an LPC) to join our practice at our Falls Church or Ashburn location. 

​

We are seeking applicants who are passionate about providing evidenced based outpatient mental health treatment to children, teens and adults. We are currently seeking full time candidates that work with children, teens and adults and have at least 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting. 

​

This position will require afternoon/evening and weekend hours with the ability to create your own schedule.

​

• Cost of licensure supervision is 100% covered and provided on-site.

• This is a 1099 contractor position, salary based on number of clients

If you are looking to move your clinical experience from community based, case management work to a setting that provides in-depth, therapeutic, person-centered services, transitioning to private practice may be the perfect vehicle for you!

We can pay our therapists at the top rate because of our private pay client base, competitive reimbursement rates, and company structure involving independent contractors. That means you can easily make over 100K within your first year at THLH. We offer benefits such as THLH stipend, bonuses, etc.

Full Caseload

With our wide network of referrals and ever-growing waitlist, you will never need to worry about finding the perfect client. You get to pick and choose which clients to work with out of hundreds of referrals. Our referral specialist will work with you to find you the perfect clients for your caseload. We even offer targeted marketing to work with your ideal clients.

Show up to see clients, that’s it! Our referral specialists set up the intake, send all paperwork, complete all billing and insurance checks. If a client doesn’t pay, you still get paid, you also don’t have to wait for insurance to provide reimburse[R1] to get paid. Compensation is paid monthly, regardless of when insurance reimburses the company. All you need to do is be a therapist!

 

Established EHR system with training and support

We utilize Simple Practice, which is an easy-to-use client management system for all notes and documents. We provide the training and helpful resources to make writing notes fast and efficient.

Insurance credentialing

We are credentialed with BCBS/Anthem at the highest reimbursement rate. Our billing team will get your credentialed and in-network without you having to worry about a thing. Start seeing clients immediately even before you are in-network, and the company will hold the liability.

Collaborative Team

Our team consists of some of the best and brightest therapists who believe in working together and growing with one another. We group case consultation, team meetings, and work groups for therapists who have similar interests. Our team of therapists’ value friendship among coworkers and collaboration even if we are not in the office. There are opportunities to meet up in person through company sponsored events, (luxury picnic at local winery, high tea at the Ritz).

Flexibility

Hiring independent contractors vs employees means that you are your own boss. Decide when and how often you want to work, where you want to work (office or teletherapy), and who you want to see. We do require at least 10 clients weekly. We have two locations Falls Church and Ashburn for in person clients.

Potential Income: $125,000-225,000 annually

RESIDENT IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

Think Happy Live Healthy is seeking a School Psychologist Resident at our Falls Church or Ashburn Location.

Applicants who are passionate about the work they do but are wanting to get out of the school systems and work in a private setting are encouraged to apply.  School Psychologists must already be licensed to work in Virginia at the masters level.  Opportunities for individual therapy and evaluations. 

 

This position would be full-time or part-time. Flexible hours.
