Think Happy Live Healthy

Welcome to Think Happy Live Healthy
I spent nearly a decade as a school psychologist seeing firsthand how the system often misses the bigger picture. I watched as stress and anxiety in my students turned into physical symptoms before they could get the support they really needed. Around that same time, my own journey with chronic illness taught me that true healing requires more than just a quick fix. It requires looking at how our minds, our bodies, and our daily habits all work together.
I founded Think Happy Live Healthy because I wanted to create a place where care feels different. I wanted to build a practice where you don’t have to piece together your own support system. By bringing therapy, psychiatry, and testing all under one roof, our team can work together to see the whole version of you.
My "why" is simple. I want to help you find a path to balance that actually lasts. Whether you are navigating the transitions of motherhood, managing burnout, or looking for a way to help your child thrive, I am here to make sure you have an expert team in your corner. We are here to help you move from just getting through the day to truly feeling grounded in your life.
Professional Credentials & Background
I am a Licensed School Psychologist (LSP) with a Master’s degree and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I completed my undergraduate studies at James Madison University.
My background includes over a decade of experience working within the school system, which gives me a unique perspective on how to bridge the gap between clinical support and educational success. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing comprehensive psychological testing and integrative therapy for children, teens, and adults across Northern Virginia. Today I lead our team of experts to ensure every client receives the same high standard of integrative care that I have championed throughout my career.
Areas of Expertise
My work is rooted in an integrative model that looks at the connection between mental health and physical well-being. This philosophy guides our practice in supporting individuals through the complexities of neurodivergence, including ADHD and Autism, as well as helping women navigate the deep transitions of motherhood and career burnout.
By bringing together my background in education and clinical mental health, I have built a team that focuses on moving past labels to find a clear path toward balance. We use evidence based tools to ensure that every person who walks through our doors at Think Happy Live Healthy feels seen, understood, and supported.
