IZABELA OSINIECKA

Izabela Osiniecka
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Izabela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of experience working with acute and chronically mentally ill adults, specializing in working with adults with anxiety, depression/mood disorder, women’s issues, relational issues, attachment, life transitions, communication, LGBTQ issues, and substance use. Izabela utilizes Person-Centered, Strength Based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing approaches as well as a Trauma lens to help create a strong, safe therapeutic relationship that allows clients to reach their therapy goals. She understands the importance of meeting clients where they are at in order to provide a service tailored to clients’ specific needs. Izabela is committed to creating a welcoming therapeutic environment that will allow clients to identify and build on their strengths. She believes everyone can benefit from therapy that is focused on hope, compassion, and unconditional acceptance.

Izabela received both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Community Action and Social Change and her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan. Since then, Izabela has experience working in short-term and long-term inpatient hospitals, outpatient individually therapy, and college settings in Michigan, Massachusetts, and Virginia.

In her free time, Izabela enjoys reading, parenting her 2 cats, taking advantage of all the unique experiences DC has to offer, and is an active yogi at CorePower Yoga. Izabela also identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community.
