LAUREN ELMER

Resident in Social Work

Lauren holds a Master of Social Work from the Case Western Reserve University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Virginia. Prior to joining the team at THLH, Lauren has been working hard as a Special Educator. She especially has enjoyed her time assisting neurodivergent individuals and those on the Autism spectrum. Her transition into therapy was a natural evolution, driven by the desire to provide impactful and personalized approach to emotional and mental well-being. Lauren’s therapeutic philosophy center’s around empathy, understanding and firmly believing ALL individuals have the innate strength to overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives. When Lauren is not working she enjoys all things exercise and is a passionate vegan since 2014!
