Jennifer Yang, Ed.S.,NCSP

Licensed School Psychologist

Jennifer Yang is a Licensed School Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, executive functioning deficits and ADHD. She brings her knowledge and expertise from working in public school systems as a psychologist and behaviorist for almost a decade. Jen also brings her experience of being a mother to a neurodiverse special needs child and a neurotypical child.

Jen's therapy involves supporting clients to realize and understand their own strengths and weaknesses, emotions, and thoughts. She helps individuals in how to utilize their strengths and other emotional/cognitive strategies to improve their emotional regulation, social interactions, and school/work functioning.

Jen’s approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She believes so much of therapy and growth takes place outside of the weekly therapy session. Therefore, she collaborates closely with parents and school teams through Behavioral Consultations and Parent Training so they can best support their children outside of sessions.
