Katie Wells, MA, CAGS

Licensed School Psychologist

Hi, my name is Katie and I am a school psychologist with over a decade of experience working with children, young adults, and families. My focus is to develop a trusted relationship to provide individualized care for those experiencing anxiety, depression, low self esteem, difficulties managing stressors, life transitions, and difficulties with executive functioning. I currently provide individual therapy, parent support and training, school consultations, and comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.

My approach to therapy is person centered and solution focused, while being grounded in formal training for evidenced based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Somatic Therapy, positive psychology, and behavioral parent training and support. Sessions are focused on working together to individualize strategies and supports to best support positive growth and adaptive skills for day to day functioning.

I attended school in my home state of New Jersey including receiving my Master's and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology from Georgian Court University and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Rowan University. Outside of work, I enjoy reading novels, sailing, playing various sports, and spending time with my friends and family.
