Nicole Campbell, MA, CAGS, NCSP

Licensed School Psychologist

Nicole, a compassionate and experienced school psychologist, is dedicated to empowering her clients through a strength-based and holistic approach. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to enhance skills, improve thought processes, and reduce symptoms. Nicole provides individual psychotherapy to children (age 8 and older), adolescents, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, ADHD, executive functioning, and life transitions.

As a practicing school psychologist in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), Nicole has extensive expertise in the special education identification process. She specializes in psychological evaluations, individual counseling, and psychoeducational groups. Nicole's experience also encompasses functional behavioral assessments and consultations with parents on special education, social-emotional, behavioral, and learning needs.

Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at George Mason University (2015) and her Master's degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in School Psychology (2017) from the same institution. She has maintained qualifications to be a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) since 2020 and has received training in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and reading.
