Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Mary is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 18 years of nursing experience and specialization in mental health since 2015. She cares for individuals across the lifespan — from children to adults — with a passion for treating depression, anxiety, and ADHD.

She uses an evidence-based, holistic approach, viewing each person through a biopsychosocial lens and honoring the age, stage, and life circumstances that make each journey unique. Her warmth is evident throughout the treatment process, fostering a respectful and collaborative partnership.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth, as evidenced by her experience teaching in undergraduate nursing and her work developing mental health continuing education courses. 

Outside of the clinic, she finds joy in running, reading, and spending time with her family and miniature schnauzers.
